Arthur F. Yeida 43, a
native of Point township and a navyman
for 13 years died suddenly late yesterday afternoon at his home in Painesville,
Ohio, near Cleveland. Heart disease was fatal.
The deceased had been hospitalized in recent
weeks but had returned to his home and was believed improved.
The funeral service will be conducted Monday in
Painesville with burial in a Painesville cemetery.
Surviving are the wife, Betty; the mother, Mrs.
Tillie Yeida Hartley, Point township three brothers,
William and Edward, Point, and John , Mt. Vernon, and two sisters, Mrs. Kate
Curtis, Louisville and Mrs. Edward Hughes, Point township. The deceased's
father was Henry Yeida.
For 13 years the ex-local man was in the U.S.
Navy. He was separated from the service in 1942 on a medical discharge
and had engaged in construction work since that time.
