ANDREW WILDEMANN

An illness of leukemia was fatal to Andrew Wildemann, 59, prominent resident of the St. Philips vicinity at 9:20 a.m. Sunday (13 Dec 1953) at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville where he had been a patient since last Tuesday.

He was an employee of Servel, Evansville, Indiana for the last 20 years and a life-long resident of Posey county, a member of a prominent Marrs township family.

The body is at the Schenk & Pierre Funeral Home in Evansville.

A brief service in the funeral home chapel at 8 a.m. Wednesday will be followed by Requirm High Mass at St. Philip Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a devout member, at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.  Father Charles Kaiser, pastor of St. Philip church will be the celebrant of the Mass.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The deceased was twice married.  His first wife was Mary Wannemuehler Wildemann.  She died a number of years ago.  His second wife was Cecelia Folz Eickhoff Wildemann.

Surviving in addition to the second wife, are two sons, Paul Wildemann, Evansville and Andrew Wildemann, Jr. St Phillips; two daughters, Mrs. Flora Wolf, E vansvile, and Mrs. Leona Sturm, San Antonio, Tex; five step sons- Herman and Paul Eickhoff, Evansville, James Eickhoff, Poseyville, and Charles and Elmer Eickhoff, St Phillips; a brother, Edwin, Kansas City, Mo; four grandchildren, and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Wolf, St. Joseph, and Mrs. Tillie Wannemuehler, Mrs. Katherine Weinzapfel, Mrs. Della alstadt and Mrs. Agnes Stone, all of Evansville.
