Since the end of World War II, in which the deceased's only child,
Aviation Mechanic Malcom Whipple, 22 was lost in the
sinking of an airplane transport vessel at sea, Mr. Whipple had been a fireman
on the Louisville & Nashville Railroad.
The deceased's parents were Elijah Whipple and Nancy Jane Nesler Whipple, and he was born and reared in the

Boonville and two nieces, Mrs. Morris Aldrich and Mrs. Arthur Lueder, both of Mt. Vernon.
