WILLIAM H WATSON

William H. Watson 63, of 529 E. Second street, a World War I veteran and a flour packer employed for many years by Home Mill & Grain Co., died early today in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Marion, Ill.

 

A heart condition and dropsy were the cause of deth.  He had been in poor health for a long period of time and had been ia patient in the Marion hospital since Jul 27.

 

The body is at the Weisinger Funeral Home where friends may call beginning at the funer home through the funeral service set for 2;30 p.m. Monday in the Weisinger chapel.  Burial will be in the Bellefontaine cemetery.

 

Surviving are the wife, nee Minnie Peggy Garner, Mt. Vernon, and a sister, Mrs. Clayton Sharp, R. R. 1, New Harmony.

 

The deceased was a native ov Carmi, Ill. the son of James and Mary Watson.  He had spent most of his life in Mt. Vernon.  His fraternal affiliation was with Posey aerie, No 1717.  Fraternal Order of Eagles.
