Word Received of Former Resident's Death in Ohio:

Word has been received here of the death today of Fred A. Walker, 67, of Dayton, OH., a former resident of Mt. Vernon.

He was a brother of Miss Helen Walker of Mt. Vernon and the brother of the late Loren Walker, also of Mt. Vernon.

He was born in Black Township and moved from the area in 1924. He is also survived by his wife, Lucille; a son, Donald; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Blake of Keokuk, Iowa; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The son of Neil and Cora Donaldson Walker, he left Mt. Vernon in 1924.
