Anita L. Theuerkauf
She was born
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49
years, Arthur H. Theuerkauf, in 1987; her infant twin
sisters, Emma and Emily; and her brother, Herbert Scherer.
She was a homemaker, a loving and caring mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, and aunt. She was an excellent cook and baker. She shared
her good food with her neighbors, her church family, and many friends. She
loved to sew and through the years made many crafts and enjoyed giving them to
others. She was a lifetime member of Trinity United Church of Christ, where she
was very active in teaching Sunday school. She was a member of the Ladies Aide
Society at Trinity. She was a charter and board member of the Posey County
Senior Citizens. Her life was centered around helping
and doing for others. "She will be greatly missed."
Surviving are her daughter and her son-in-law, Martha and Gary
Porter of
