Funeral services for Albert E. Swope, 84, a
Rev. Glen Kaetzel, minister of
Mr. Swope is survived by his wife, Esther D., Mt. Vernon; five
daughters, Mrs. Clarence Cooksey, Mrs. Elnora Frances, Mrs. James Riggs and
Mrs. James McCutchan all of Evansville, and Mrs. Guy
German, College Park Ga; a stepson, Robert T. Goebel,
Midland, Tex; 21 grandsons, eight granddaughters and 35 great grandchildren.
An only son, Ralph, died in 1948 and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Henry,
died in 1952.
The deceased had had a varied and active career. As a young
man he served in every capacity in the

As a resident of MmcCutchanville he organized the Old Hickory camp and in 1892, organized White Oak camp, No. 26, Indiana Woodmen of the World, serving as the secretary for many years. He was a member of Woodmen of the World for 62 years. - article not complete.
