Mrs. Anna Margaret Stovall, 86, of New Harmony, IN and formerly of Madisonville, KY, died Saturday afternoon at New Harmonie Health Care due to complications from diabetes and dementia.

Born October 29, 1919 in Madisonville, KY she was the daughter of the late William Warner Slaton and Maggie Moore Slaton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stovall and one brother, Noble Slaton.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Harry Eich of Palm Coast, FL and Laverne and Arnold Neible of Wadesville, IN; three sons, and daughters-in-law; Chester Ray and Robbie Whitfield of Fredericksburg, VA and John and Barbara Whitfield of Henderson, KY and Robert and Katie Whitfield of Hanson, KY; one brother, William Slaton of Kuttawa, KY; eight grandchildren, Steve Neible, Kathy Butler, Jason Whitfield, Zach Whitfield, Cris Carroll, Bobbie Jo Fox, Josh Lindsey and Rachel Sprouse and ten great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank everyone at New Harmonie Health Care for all their loving care.

A special thank you to Kathy for all the care she gave her grandmother over the past several years.

Also a thank you to the caregivers at Southern Care.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Anton, KY.

Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M.
