Mechanic Victim of Rare Ailment
Frank Stevens, Jr., 29, Farmersville, a mechanic employed at the Indiana Farm
Bureau Co-op refinery at Mt.
He underwent surgery, Thursday. A post-mortem examination revealed death
to be the result of membranous and granular colitis and a gangrenous infection
of the lower bowel.
Mr. Stevens a member of a prominent South Posey county family and life-long

Surviving are the wife, nee Betty Derrington, a son

Jones and Mrs. John Robert Dewar R. R. 3 and Mrs. Marion Ray

The deceased saw Army service in World War II and was a member of Owen Dunn
post No. 3, American Legion.
