NEW HARMONY - Wanda Shepherd, 93, of New Harmony, Ind., died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006.

She was born July 21, 1913, in Freelandville, Ind., to Julius Conrad and Martha Bessie Schuckman. She was a resident of Crossville, Ill., and Winter Haven, Fla., most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Pierson Shepherd, and a brother, William Schuckman of Stockton, Calif.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, M. Susan Huelsmann, of New Harmony, Ind.; sons, Wm. Bruce Shepherd, of Evansville, Ind.; Donald G. Shepherd of Clarksville, Tenn., Michael F. Shepherd, of Winter Haven, Fla., and David F. Shepherd, of Stuart, Fla.; a brother, H. Franklin Schuckman, of Evansville; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Oaktown, Ind., at a later date. There will be no visitation. Werry Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
