CLARA REUTER SANDER

Mrs. Clara Reuter Sander, 66, Evansville, wife of August Sander and a former Mr. Vernon resident, died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Dunlap, 3001 West Franklin street, Evansville.  She had been ill for several months and underwent surgery last August.

Mrs. Sander was reared by the late Mt. and Mrs. John Knoop, Mt. Vernon, and lived here until her marriage.

The body is at Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville.  The funeral service will be conducted in the Alexander chapel at 12 p.m. Thursday with burial following in Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Friedrich Rest, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Evansville, will officiate.  Mrs. Sander was a member of St. Paul's Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dunlap, Evansville, and Mrs. Gilmore Hahn, of near Evansville; two sons, August, Jr., and George, Evansville; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mamie Stephens, Florida, and a brother, Albert Reuter, Evansville.
