OLLIE DINE PERKINS SALTZMAN
Mrs. Ollie Dine Perkins Saltzman, a
Posey county pioneer who in 1899 made an 11 day, covered wagon trip to
Mrs. Saltzman's death occurred on her
88th birthday and followed by 10 days after which she had broken a hip.
The funeral will be at
The late deceased and her husband, Henry Saltzman,
also of an early Posey family, resided at Stringtown
on the
Surviving Mrs. Saltzman are a daughter,
Mrs. Mabel Randolph, Hammond, Ind., a number of grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and great greatgrandchildren; a
half-sister, Mrs. Thomas Mills, and a half brother, Ira Perkins, both of the
Mt. Vernon vicinity.
Mrs. Saltzman was a daughter of James
Wesley Perkins and Mary Ann York Perkins.
She and her late husband were married
