FANNIE MILLS ROOS
Fannie Mills Roos, 46 a well known life
long resident of Mt. Vernon and the wife of George Roos,
who is engaged in local freight transportation, died at 1 a.m. Sunday (9 May 1954) at her home at 527 East
Ninth Street.
A lengthy illness of carcinoma that had rendered her condition
serious for almost a year preceded her death.
The body is at the Weisinger Funeral
Home and will remain there through the funeral service at
Surviving in addition to the husband are the mother, Mrs. Cora
Mills; a brother, Jack Mills,
The deceased was a native, life-long resident of
Mrs. Roos' interests had centered in her home and her friendly,
sympathetic character had endeared her to a wide circle of friends.
