IDA L. YORK RIPPEY
Mrs. Ida L. York Rippey, 90, most of
whose long lifetime of neighborliness and family devotion had been spent in the
Grafton and Farmersville communities near Mr. Vernon, died at
She was the widow of Joseph A. Rippey
who died 34 years ago.
The dwelling in which the end came to the representative of the
Mrs. Rippey had been ill for the last
three years and seriously ill the last year.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Della R. Devers,
who resides with her mother, and Mrs. Louis J. Alldredge, Mt. Vernon; two
grandson, H. Eugene Alldredge, R. R. 4, Mt. Vernon, and Glen Alldredge, Evansville; one great grandchild and a half
brother, Vincent York, New Haven, Ill.
The parents of the late deceased were James K. Polk York and
Louisa Jane Fislar York. The father was a
native of Posey county.
Mrs. Rippey spent 18 years of her life

grandmother in
