Benjamin F. Niemeier, 72, a Marrs township farmer for the greater part of his life and
a native of Marrs township,
died at
Death apparently was caused by heart disease. Mr. Niemeier had been ill only a few days and entered the
hospital early last night.

Surviving are
four daughters, Mrs. Arthur Shaw and Mrs. George Stephans,
Evansville, Mrs. Louis Apperman, Washington, Ill.,
and Mrs. Harold Mangold, Stuttgart, Germany, where
her husband is stationed in military service; three sons, Wilbert and Bernard,
Evansville; and Arthur, R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon; 15 grandchildren and one great
grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Edward Lewis and Mrs. Margaret Kueber, Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Roscoe Ruminie,
Marrs township, and Mrs. Herman Muehlenbein,
Evansville, and a brother, John Niemeier, Marrs township.
