IDA M MOORE
Mrs. Ida M. Moore, 90 years old last April 14, a native of South
Posey county and one of the Mt. Vernon community's most respected and beloved
women, died at 10 a.m. Sunday (12 May
1957) at Maxey Nursing Home in Evansville where she had resided for the
last four years.
She was the widow of Angelo Moore, a prominent and successful
local farmer who died 28 years ago.

Officiating clergymen will be Elder Leo Dodd,
The deceased was of the Posey county pioneer stock. Her
father was William Barnett Givens and her mother was Maria Erwin Givens.
She had been ill since Thanksgiving Day of last year.
Surviving are a
daughter, Mrs. Harry Stephens, Mt. Vernon; five grandchildren, Mrs. Eugene Rowe
and Angelo Stephens, both of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Foster Tolliver, New Harmony,
Morton Stephens, Fort Collins, Colo., and Paul B. Stephens, Chicago, and four
great-grandchildren. A son, Fred T. Moore died in 1956.
