M GLENN MILLER
Marion Glenn Miller, a World War II veteran and a mechanic at Gonnerman Auto Co., garage in Mt. Vernon the last eight
years, died at 7:05 p.m. Thursday # Feb 1955) in an Evansville hospital.
He would have been 33 years old on the coming February 22.
Miller "blacked out" and fell in a local cafe Monday
morning injuring his head. A post-mortem autopsy was scheduled for today
at the hospital to determine the cause of death.
He was unmarried and resided with his stepfather and mother, Mr.
and Mrs. French L. Copeland, at Grafton.

The deceased, a veteran of 3 1⁄2 years Army service in World
War II including a year in battle in the European area, was a member of Owen
Dunn post, No. 5, American Legion, Mt. Vernon. He also was a member of
Posey aerie, No. 1717, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Prior to his entrance into srvice he was
employed by Topper's Nash Sales.
The deceased’s father was the late Aaron Miller. His
mother, now Mrs. French L. Copeland, was Iona Alldrege
before her first marriage.
Also surviving
are a half brother, Donald Miller, Grafton; two stepbrothers, Richard Copeland,
