Robert Allen Marx, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Marx 1801
The little boy was riding with his aunt, Mrs. Selma Bureger, 56, of 2101
Mrs. Burger had locked the rear doors of the auto but in some
manner the little boy unlocked and unlatched the left rear door. As the
auto swung around the curve the door came open and the child was hurled to the
pavement of the highway. His skull was crushed and he died instantly,
according to Posey county Coroner Ferrel J. Meinschein, whose verdict was accidental death.
The body was moved from the accident scene to Alexander Funeral

Surviving in
addition to the parents, are a sister, Linda, a brother, Larry, both at home;
the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoeche,
Evansville and paternal grandfather, Baker Marx, Mt. Vernon and Evansville.
