MARY FRANCES KONRAD KUEBER

 

March 4, 1955

 

Mrs. Mary Frances Konrad Kueber, 64, wife of Frank J. Kueber and a respected life-long resident of Marrs and East Black townships, died at 6:50 p.m. Monday (28 Feb 1955) in St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.  Mr. Kuebler, the husband was an employee of Schieber Cabinet Shop at the time the firm's plant in Mt. Vernon was destroyed by fire.

 

Mrs. Kueber had been ill of a heart condition for only a few days.  She entered St. Mary's Hospital form her home on the Beaver Dam road south of State Highway 62 East Black township less than an hour before she died.

 

The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon and will remain there until it is taken to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, of which the deceased was a devout member.  Father Raymond B. Smith, St. Matthew's Church pastor, will be the Mass celebrant.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

 

Death severed marital bonds of 44 years.  Mrs. Kueber was a daughter of Martin Konrad and Frances Deig Konrad and was born in the Crunk Settlement vicinity.

 

Surviving in addition to the husband are two daughers, Mrs. Arthur Winiger, R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Richard Dillman, Whittier, Calif, six sons, Francis, R. R. 1, Evansville, Henry, R. R. 1, Mt. Vernon, Stephen, U. S Air Force, San Antonio, Tex, Joseph, at home, Clement, Evansville and Lenus, Larinburg, N.C. 14 grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Katie Folz, Mrs. William E. Grossman, Mrs. Margaret Adamson and Mrs. Elizabeth Niemeier all of Evansville.
