MOUNT VERNON - Vonna (Boyles) Johnson, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2006, at Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Surviving are her husband, Harold; stepdaughter, Virgie Penner; stepsons, Darwin and Deon; sisters, Juanita and Wanda Goldman and Mary Hinderliter; brother George Boyles; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services 12:30 p.m. today at Schneider Funeral Home, burial in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville, Ill. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Vernon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Activities Fund.
