Rites Are Set For Tuesday:

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon for William
M. (Mack) Gross, 58, R.R. 4,
home near The Curtis Orchard at
Mr. Gross had been ill of a heart condition since 1954 and
suffered a severe attack last June. He recently sold his farm and with his wife
was planning to reside in
Funeral Rites Tuesday: The body is at Welsinger
Funeral Home where friends began calling late
Sunday. Rev. Owen L. Endris,
pastor of North Mt. Vernon Methodist Parish of which Olive Chapel is a unit,
will conduct the funeral service at
The deceased was a native of
Surviving Relatives: Surviving are the wife, Opal; a stepson Don
Johnston,
stepdaughter, Mrs. Frances Hudgens,
Vincennes; a stepgranddaughter, Donna E. Johnston; three
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Key and Mrs. John Chafflin,
both of Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Ora Dale, Gary, IN;
three brothers, Hunter, R.R. 5, Mt. Vernon, George M., Mt. Vernon, and John,
Gary, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
