Aaron Duckworth, 43, Dearborn Michigan, who spent most of his adult life in the
Mt. Vernon vicinity, died recently in Martin Place Hospital in Detroit where he had been a patient for 2 1⁄2
weeks with a heart condition.
His survivors include the wife, Edna; two brothers Paul, California, and Harold, Dearborn, Mich; a sister, Mrs. Thomas J. Warner,
Dearborn, and four nieces and five nephews.
The deceased was a native of Kentucky. He moved to Detroit in 1941 with his mother and sister from
the family farm near Farmersville. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon unit of the National Guard until 1940
when he was discharged.
Burial was
in Michigan Memorial Park at Dearborn adjacent to the grave of his mother who
died in September 1941.
