CAROLINE HOFMANN DOLL

STEWARTSVILLE, Ind. (Special) Mrs. Caroline Hofmann Doll, 92 years old Thursday, widow of Adam J. Doll, died Friday (3 Sep 1954) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lydia Wilkinson.

Mr. Doll, the husband, a well known farmer, died in 1933.  The late deceased was a native of Parker's Settlement but had resided here for many years.

The body is at the Werry Funeral Home in Poseyville and will remain there until it is taken to the Stewartsville Methodist Church for the funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.  Burial will be in Stewartsville cemetery.  Rev. Carl Huston, local Methodist minister will officiate.

Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Wilkinson; a son, Edwin J. Doll, Memphis, Tenn; two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Burns, Alabama and Mrs. Benie Scherer, Stewartsville; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren  The late Mrs. Willard C. Walker, Mt. Vernon was a daughter.

Mrs. Doll was a member of the Stewartsville Rebecca lodge.
