MOTHER MT VERNON RESIDENT SUCCUMBS

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ellen Denny, 74, were conducted today in Los Angeles.  Mrs. Denny was the mother of Mrs. Sven Jacobsen, Mt. Vernon, wife of the superintendent of Indiana Farm Bureau Co-op refinery at Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Jacobsen flew to Los Angeles to attend the funeral and will be away from Mt. Vernon for about two weeks.

Mrs. Denny died Monday after an illness of two years.  Two sons and two daughters residing in the West survive, in addition to the daughter in Mt. Vernon.
