She was the widow of Charles Dawson, a pharmacist and drug store
owner in
Funeral Rites Sunday
The body was returned this afternoon from the Weisinger
Funeral Home in the late residence where it will remain until it is taken to
Three nieces and three nephews are the nearest surviving relatives
- Mrs. Elsie Zimmerman, Mt. Vernon, a teacher in Hedges Central grade school;
Miss Loeraine Zimmerman, Mt Vernon, a teacher in
Kokomo, In; Miss Alice Zimmerman, Evansville a teacher in Evansville Reitz High
School; Carl A Zimmerman, superintendent of Logansport Ind
schools; Robert Alexander, St. Louis, an insurance company executive and Thomas
Zimmerman, Mt. Vernon, Ind.
Mrs. Dawson was a member of a prominent early local family. She
was the last surviving child of John Zimmerman and Elizabeth Seifert Zimmerman.
She was graduated from
Very Devout Methodist
Few members of
In addition to her affiliation with church organizations, she was
a member of the Diligent Workers Home Economics Club.
