Lemuel P Culley, 77,
a respected native Mt. Vernon-ite and a retired
hostler of Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad by whom he was employed 35
years died at 8:45 a.m. today at his home at 709 W. Eighth street.
A complication of diseases that produced illness for the last two
years was fatal.
Since the death of his wife, Emma gill Culley,
in 1947, Mr. Culley had made his home with his son in
law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer (Turp) Bergstrome at the West Eighth street address.
