Funeral services for Mrs. Phoebe Mae DeWeese Crowder 86, wife of Henry C Crowder who died Sunday night at her home at 6l8 W. Sixth street were conducted this afternoon at the Short Funeral Home chapel and at the grave in Bellefontaine cemetery.

Rev. August E. Binder, pastor of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church, was the officiating minister.  Pallbearers were Herman Bray, George A Krug, and Charles B. Moye, of Mt. Vernon and Frank Cooper, Archie Williams, and Clarence Tennison of Evansville.
