FLOYD CLEVENGER (1892 -- 1956)

FLOYD CLEVENGER, 63, of 347 West Eighth street, an employee of the former Keck-Gonnerman Co., for many years and a resident of Posey county for almost 50 years died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Although ill of a cerebral vascular condition for a year, death came unexpectedly.  Mr. Clevenger entered the hospital from his home last Saturday.

The deceased was a native of Wayne county, Ill., a son of Edward Clevenger and Hulda McClain Clevenger.  He came to Posey county when he was 16 years of age.

The body is at Weisinger Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Ernest E. Hopper, pastor of Church of the Nazarene, in Weisinger chapel at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. Burial - article incomplete (He was buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery.)
