KENNETH WAYNE BYRD

May 4, 1955

Kenneth Wayne Byrd, 16, a junior student in Wadesville High school and a son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin F Byrd, Robinson township, died at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday (3 May 1955) in the Deaconess Hospital following surgery.

The family formerly resided in Point Township.

The body is at the Short Niehaus Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon and will remain there through the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday in the Short-Niehaus chapel.  Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.  Friends are invited to call at the funeral home beginning at noon Thursday.

Surviving in addition to the parents, are a brother, Martin F. Jr., and three sisters, Phyllis Joyce and Frances Byrd, the last named a student in Indiana University.
