AUDIE MAY BUCHANAN

An illness of three years proved fatal to Mrs. Audie Mae Buchanan, 78, at 1:12 p.m. Friday (21 Feb 1975) at her home in Wadesville.

Born in Posey County, she was the daughter of Ores and Oma Chancellor Hanes.

She was a member of Wadesville Christian Church and Poseyville Chapter No. 394, Order of Eastern Star.

Funeral srvices were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Werry Chapel, with the Rev. Rice Kello officiating.  Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery at Wadesville.

Surviving are her husband, William; sons, Gary of Evansville, Larry of Las Vegas, Nev. and William of Milwaukee, Wis; daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Davidson of Evansville and Mrs. Sheritta Casillas of Costa Mesa, Calif; brothers, Van Hanes of California, Raymond Hanes of New Harmony, Eldon and Sale Hanes, both of Evansville; sisters, Mrs. Jean Hitchcock of Reno, Nev; Mrs Helen Sanders of Irvine, Calif; Mrs. Frances Rumble of Poseyville, Mrs. Effie Whelan of Evansville and Mrs. Freda Fisher of Indianapolis, 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
