Well know retired Robinson township farmer Fred A. Boberg died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday (18 Feb 1975) at Evansville Deaconess Hospital.  He was 80.

He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ at Lippe.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Church with the Rev. James Altenbaumer officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Friends may call at Alexander Funeral Home Wet Chapel until11 a.m. when the body will be taken to the church.

Surviving are his wife, Lorena; a daughter, Mrs. Anita Roettger of Evansville; six sons, Harvey, Ralph and John, all of Mt. Vernon and area and Earl, Leroy and William all of Evansville and area; a sister, Mrs. Alice Krietenstein of Arizona; a brother, Eli of Evansville; 10 grandchildren and two great -grandchildren.
