IDA MAE BOBBITT

Mrs. Ida May Bobbitt, 86, Princeton, mother of Mrs. Paul Ringham, Mt. Vernon, and Indiana Supreme Court Justice Arch N. Bobbitt, Indianapolis did at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (29 Aug 1956) in Princeton.

Mrs. Ringham's husband is a pharmacist at Wheaton Pharmacy.

Mrs. Bobbitt had been in failing health for several years and critically ill since Monday.

The body is at Colvin & son Mortuary in Princeton.  The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Colvin Funeral Home chapel and burial will be in a cemetery at Eckerty,Ind.

Mrs. Bobbitt was a native of Crawford county and a former resident of Eckerty.  She had been a resident of Evansville and Princeton for the last 30 years.  Her religious affiliation was with the Christian Church.

In addition to the daughter and son, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild and a brother, Peter F. Newton, Vincennes, survive.
