 FUNERAL HELD MONDAY FOR MRS. BLOSFELD

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Elizabeth Hagemann Blosfeld, 76, a member of a Posey County's most prominent families and virtually a life-long resident of Mt. Vernon, who died June 1 in Port Huron, Mich.

She had resided since 1952 with a daughter, Mrs. William Herdis Alldredge, in Port Huron, and had been seriously ill since March.  During her absence from Mt. Vernon she continued to maintain her extensive local agricultural interests.  The deceased's husband, August Blosfeld, a miller, died in 1911.  They were married in 1906.

Rev. August E. Binder pastor of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed was in charge of the service. (Burial was in Bellefontaine Cemetery.)
