MT VERNON - Mrs. Dorothy J. (Dot) bishop, 56, died at 1:18 p.m. Tuesday (21 Jun 1983) at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Surviving are her husband, Ernest W.; a son, Brian Bishop of St. Philips, two daughters, Miss Susan Bishop and Miss Joanie Bishop, both of rural Mt. Vernon, three brothers, John Redman of Poseyville, Oral Redman of Petersburg, and Russell Redman of Evansville, four sisters, Mrs. Arletta Seifert of Evansville, Mrs. Harriet Hargart of St. Petersburg, Fla., Miss Janet Satin of Stonebrook, NY. and Mrs. Phyllis Ries of rural Mt. Vernon and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Norvell Funeral Home, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at the funeral home.
