CLEMMER BILDERBACK

Clemmer E. Bilderback, 76, of Fort Branch, died at 9:45 p.m. Saturday Nov 1, 1986, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

 

He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus in Haubstadt.

 

He was a prisoner of war in Germany in World War II.

 

He was a member of the Princeton VFW and received the Purple Heart.

 

He was retired from Emge Packing Co.

 

Surviving are his wife the former Mary E. Froman, and a sister, Estia Langford, of Owensville.

 

Services were Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

FT BRANCH - Mrs. Belle Bilderback was informed by a telegram Wednesday from the War Department that her son, Cpl Clemmer Bilderback, 35, has been missing in action in Luxembourg since January 6.  Cpl. Bilderback, a member of an infantry unit, has been overseas since November 1944.  He was employed at Emge & Son Packing company before entering the service.
