BOBBY JOE BILDERBACK

BOBBY BILDERBACK REPORTED KILLED IN GERMANY FEB 2.

Mrs. Madge Evans, East Spruce street, Princeton, received a telegram Saturday from the War Department stating that her son, Pvt. Bobby Joe Bilderback was killed in action February 2 in Germany.  He had previously been reported missing in action.

Survivors besides the mother include the father, Alonzo Bilderback of Evansville, two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Blackburn and Miss Myrtle Bilderback of Evansville one brother, Jack Bilderback of Princeton, several half-brothers and half-sisters, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Bruce and the grandmother, Mrs. John Tuttle also of this city.

Pvt Bilderback, who had been overseas since August, 1944, was a member of an infantry unit.  He entered the armed forced in April 1944.
