Mrs. Margaret (Thompson) McRoberts Betz, 65, of Evansville died at 9:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her sister,
Mrs. Mark (Lillie Agnes) Armstrong near Mt. Olympus following an illness of six months.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning at the Colvin & Son
chapel with Rev. L. L. Parker of Union officiating. Burial will be in the
Shiloh cemetery.
Mrs. Betz was born in Washington township, Gibson county,
April 9, 1880. She was the widow of Andrew Betz, who died in 1938. She
had lived in Evansville for a number of years. During her illness she had
been cared for in the home of her sister.
Surviving besides the sister are two brothers, Leo Thompson of Princeton and Joe Thompson of East St. Louis, Ill.
The body will remain at the Colvin mortuary until the funeral
hour.
