Melvin A. Berkemeier, 66, of Evansville, died at 6 a.m. Friday (23 Jul 1982) at Deaconess Hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Evelyn; two sons, Ricky of Columbus, Ind., and Tim of Evansville; his father, Carl of Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. Irma Kuhn of Evansville and Mrs. Thelma Duncan of Sumerville, S.C. and a brother, Carl T. of Wadesville.

Services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home West chapel, the Rev. Lawrence Becher officiating with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
