MOUNT VERNON - Elmer A. Benning, 74, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday at his home.

Surviving are his wife, Leola; and a niece.

Services were 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norvell Funeral Home, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
