James Herman Belt, 88, died at 8:20 p.m. Friday at Salem Hospital in Salem.

Surviving are his wife Cenia; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Gresham of Wadesville and Mrs. Lucille Stites and Mrs. Velva Walker, both of Evansville; four sons, George of Lowell, Ind. Leonard of Marion and Kenneth and Donald both of Lola; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday at Boyd Funeral Home, Salem, with burial in Lola Pentecostal Cemetery.
