Services for Paul C. Bayer, age 60, of Mt. Vernon, were held Tuesday afternoon at Tygart Funeral Home with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Mr. Bayer died shortly after noon Saturday (9 Jan 1982) in his home.

Surviving are his wife, Lou; two sons, Steven of Indianapolis and Gary of Sierra Madre, California; a brother, Arthur of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Bertha Marie Lang, of near Mt. Vernon, and four grandchildren.

The family said that friends who wish may make a memorial contribution to the Trinity Church.
