MRS OSCAR BAXTER

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon for Mrs. Oscar Baxter, 72, Rising Sun, IN, mother of James O. Baxter, Mt. Vernon Metropolitan School District business manager.

Mrs. Baxter died Friday night at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. The body was moved to Humphrey Funeral Home in Rising Sun where the funeral was conducted this afternoon. Burial was in a Rising Sun cemetery.

The son in Mt. Vernon and his wife and son were called to Cincinnati late Thursday by Mrs. Baxter's critical condition.

Surviving, in addition to the husband and the Mt. Vernon son, are another son, Robert, Cleveland, OH; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. W.E. Rutherford, Santa Rosa, CA.
