MT VERNON - Mrs Alice A. (Jean) Bass, 70 died at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8 at Holiday Nursing Home in Evansville.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara McCoy of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Roberson of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Mabel Patmore of Washington and three grandchildren.

Services were 2 p.m. Friday at Norvell Funeral Home, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
