EVANSVILLE-James R. Basham, 63, of Evansville, father of Mrs. Emory Koberstein of Princeton, died Sunday at 10:50 p.m. at St. Mary's hospital in Evansville.  He had been ill the past eight months.

Other survivors include the wife, Elizabeth; a son, James Marion of Sebree, Ky; three other daughters, Miss Mary Joe Heitgerd, at home, Mrs. Edward Williams and Mrs. William Knight, both of Evansville; a brother, Percy of Roadhouse, Ill; a sister, Mrs. Helen Doss of Peru, Ind; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Miller and Miller funeral home continued at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic church.  Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home where St. Theresa parishioners will recite the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. today.
