William S. Barron, 54, was found dead at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in his room at the Rollman rooming house, West and Chestnut streets. At
the coroner's investigation it was found that death had occurred at 10 p.m. Saturday from a heart attack.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Colvin and Son chapel with
Dr. L. C. Jeffrey officiating. Burial was in White church cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Manning of Chicago; five sisters, Mrs
Bert Justice, Mrs. B. C. Holland, Mrs. James Boyd, and Mrs. Dewit
Boyd, all of Gadsden, Ala; and Mrs. Nettie
Johnson of Georgia; two brothers, Charles and Grady Barron of Gadsden, Ala.,
and one grandson.
Mr. Barron was a former employee of the Southern Railway shops.
