Joseph C. Barrett, 76, of Route 1, Princeton, died Friday (17 Jan 1975) morning at Welborn Baptist Hospital.
He was born October 6, 1896, in Somerville and had lived in the Princeton area for most of his lifetime. He
was a retired employee of King's Mine, and a member of the First Baptist Church
of Princeton. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his wife, Elsie; one son, Bill of Owensville; two
daughters, Mrs. Betty Jones of Mesa, Ariz; and Mrs. Trillis
Perrin of Evansville; two brothers, Orville and Jess,
both of Owensville; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kendall Funeral Home with Rev.
Benny Goodson and the Rev. Donald Grollimund
officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F Cemetery.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
