Mrs. Katherine Barr, 76, of Owensville, formerly of Evansville died at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday August 15, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

Surviving are her husband former Democratic County Councilman Harold J. Barr, a daughter, Mrs. Betty Owen of Hinsdale, Ill.; a son Harry L. of Lafayette, Ind., a sister, Mrs. Wilma Vandeveer of Evansville; three brothers, Glenn, James and William Shane all of Evansville; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
