Elizabeth Axton, 97, of Wadesville did at 8:35 a.m. Monday, May 30, 1988, at Allison Nursing Home in Poseyville.

Surviving are two daughters, Geraldine Hayes of Fort Worth, Texas, and Eva Causey of Mount Vernon; two sons, Hubert and Malcolm, both of Wadesville; a brother, Roland McKinnis of Nashville, Tn; 12 grand children, 21 great grand-children and 11 great-great - grandchildren.

Services were Thursday at Werry Chapel in New Harmony with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
