HANNAH FELLEMENDE ASHWORTH

Mrs. Hannah FELLEMENDE Ashworth, 75, widow of William F. Ashworth and a resident of Western Black township most of her life, died at 2:05 a.m. Sunday (24 Feb 1957) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Gill, 536 South Kerth avenue, Evansville.

 

Failing health over a period of two years preceded death.  Mrs. Ashworth had resided with her daughter and son in law in recent years.  Mt. Ashworth, the husband, and well known Western Black township farmer, died in 1943.

 

The body is at Weisinger Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.  Rev. Floyd S. Stephens, pastor of South Mt. Vernon Methodist Parish, will conduct the funeral service in Weisinger chapel at 2:30 p.m. tuesday.  Burial will be in Black cemetery.  Mrs. Ashworth was a member of Black Chapel.

 

The deceased was a daughter of George Fellemende and Elizabeth Weiss Fellemende.

 

Surviving in addition to the daughter, Mrs. Gill, are two sons, Otto Ashworth, R. R. 1, Homestead, Fla., a former Evansville painter decorator, and Everett Ashworth, R. R. 4< Mt. Vernon; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren ; four half brothers, Fred. Carl, Ott and Lewis Fellemende, all of Louise, Ky., and three half sisters, Mrs. Emma Stettler, Mrs. Viola Ward and Miss Rocella Fellemende, all of Louisville.
