EVANSVILLE - Mrs Laine T. Anderson, 78, formerly of 303 E. Chandler, Ave., died at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 14 at Bethel Sanitarium.

She was a former Mt. Vernon resident.  Her husband, Paul, died in 1972.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Inez Patton of Mt. Vernon.

Services were 10 a.m. Saturday at Norvell Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.
